In other news, I'm reading poetry. A lot of poetry these days. It's pretty much the perfect night time reading for my current state of mind. Which is apparently... poetic.
I'm currently reading the McSweeney's Books of Poets Picking Poets - which seems to me to be a pretty fine way to put an anthology together (get a poet you like to pick a poem of theirs that they like and a poem of another poet that they like... and so on).
I'm a bit over the moon with David Berman, whose "The Charm of 5:30" opens the book. I'm also loving this poem by Brenda Shaughnessy.
So I leave you with that. Something strange and something pretty beautiful. Or two things that are both.
