(You) Set Me on Fire is out!
Hooray!
As part of our big promo sweep, Razorbill did a blog tour, which I had never participated in before. I will say it was far less stressful than some of the other real live tours I've done in the past, which involved a lot of packing and unpacking. And weird snack foods. And scratchy pillows.
In THIS tour, lots of amazing bloggers got a copy of the book and posted review.
I will say, it was such a relief to know that OTHER people liked this book. And got this book. And what I was trying to say.
Which lets you know that writers are like that. We worry. We put things in print and we wonder if they make any sense.
And so on.
I've listed a few of them below:
(If you come to this page and I've forgotten your blog please let me know!)
I want to thank everyone who participated in this tour. And everyone who reviews YA. And my mom :)
You can read my Quill and Quire review here.
Okay. That's quite enough about me. I don't know why that feels weird. Listing reviews. But it seems like the sort of thing one should do, doesn't it?
I'm placating myself on it by telling myself that what I'm really doing is promoting YA reviewers. I think ultimately it's a little Column A and a little Column B.
OKAY!
In other news, I will be in Toronto from September 15 to 25th. I'll be teaching and hanging out at a bunch of different events. Please see my side bar over there on the left for the complete listings.
OH!
And I've got two readings coming up in fabulous SF.
One tomorrow, at RADAR, and one this Saturday at Writers w Drinks. You can read the unicorn story I wrote for Radar here. (The Canadians are coming. The Canadians are coming. But of course you already knew this.)
One last thing.
A few weeks ago I got to go and visit Faze Magazine's big bonanza party thing they do every so often for teens. It was a blast. I asked the audience if I could take a pic and this is what they did. Please note the AMAZING kid in the pink shirt centre. That kid is my hero.
